Struggling with migraines or chronic headaches?
The cause may be coming from your neck — and it may be very treatable. Dr. Robert Shortell has helped thousands of patients in central Connecticut find lasting relief.
Does any of this sound like you?
Why your neck may be the real source
Many recurring headaches don't actually begin in the head. They originate from irritation in the cervical spine — the seven bones of your neck. When one or more of these bones loses proper motion or alignment, it can irritate nearby nerves and trigger headache patterns that medications alone often can't fully resolve.
Chiropractic care addresses this at the source. For many patients, once the spinal irritation is corrected, the headaches decrease significantly or stop altogether.
What our patients say
"I have been suffering from migraines for over two years, stemming from debilitating neck pain. The neck pain has subsided and the migraines much less frequent since I have started chiropractic care with Dr. Shortell. If you are considering treatments such as medication or surgery, I'd recommend first seeing Dr. Shortell for a complete evaluation."
"I was dealing with migraines daily for a year and a half. Finally a friend referred me to Dr. Shortell and after about a week of going the migraines practically disappeared. I've been going for about 7 weeks and haven't had one of those migraines since my second appointment."
